FORJS (Friends)

The Friends of Redwell Junior School is a Parent Teacher Association whose membership consists of all Parents/Guardians of pupils attending the school and all Teachers at the school.  The FRJS is also a registered charity and is required to follow the guidelines set out by The Charities Commission.  The Committee usually meets twice a term.  The time and location of the meetings can vary to accommodate member’s commitments but is usually held at the School from 7.00 p.m.  Details of the AGM and a copy of the Annual Report will be issued each Autumn Term.

The main objective of the FRJS is to advance the education of the pupils at the school.  It is our aim to develop the relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. We organise and help to organise activities that support the school and provide and assist in the provision of facilities or items for education at school that are not provided by the statutory funds.

Letters and flyers are usually issued to the children throughout the school year and also displayed along with a copy of the latest minutes on the main notice board outside the school office.  Please remember to check your child’s school bag for the latest news!
