The National Curriculum is divided into four Key Stages. Redwell Infant School covers the Foundation Stage (Reception classes) and Key Stage 1 (5-7 years old). Most of the children receive their Key Stage 2 (8-11 years old) teaching at Redwell Junior School and parents then select a comprehensive school for the teaching of Key Stage 3 (12-14 years old) and Key Stage 4 (15-16 years old).
In Years 1 and 2, we teach the core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science, and seven foundation subjects: Information Communication Technology, Art and Design, Design Technology, Physical Education, Geography, History, Music, plus Religious Education
